It took the USCIS department two months to send me the official result of my petition for H1-B visa.
“Your petition was not among those randomly selected for processing” they said.
It didn’t feel great at first. It took me about an hour to wrap my head around it. I have been working tirelessly for the last couple of years, pulling every possible string to make this happen.
God is good. Sometimes in the weirdest ways, but He’s good. And the funny thing is, He didn’t even give me the chance to ask Him why. And that’s where it gets interesting. I guess He’s preparing me for a new season in my life.
I’m terribly excited.
So my mom had both her phone (Nexus 5) & a glass bottle of Mango juice in her purse. For some reason the bottle broke and flooded the purse, and the rest is history.
My mom took the phone out, tried it out and found out it’s working alright, except for the speakers; they are barely working.
Since the phone is out of warranty, I decided it to fix it myself. I looked up some stuff online on how to fix that issue manually. I found this:
So I took out the back cover, unscrewed and removed the speakers, submerged it in deionised water, and then submerged it in some ethanol alcohol, then put it to dry in the sun (for about 20 minutes), plugged it and screwed it back in and… Voila, it’s back to working perfectly!!
